Reserves Lose At Iron
The reserves went down 4-2 at Glanford Park this afternoon against Scunthorpe United's second string in the Pontin's Holidays League Division One (East).
Despite losing 4-2 to Scunthorpe United's second string, Youth Team Coach, Grant Brown, highlighted a handful of positives from the game.
"We were up against a strong Scunthorpe side and we didn't have the best of starts when we conceded after just two minutes, however, there were some positives out of the game. Danny Hone and Adie Moses played the full 90 minutes and Owain Warlow had a good run out. Dany N'Guessan returned to action and lasted 75 minutes and scored a decent goal."
"Ollie Ryan looked sharp throughout the game and Gary King scored another goal. Although it wasn't the best of performances from the lads, we fielded a relatively inexperienced side and played against a strong Scuntorpe team."
