Owain Warlow, who was recommended to the Club by a contact of former manager John Schofield in Wales, joined the Club as a first year Scholar in the 2005/06 season but, having shown good progress, was of an age where he could have been offered a professional contract.
A left winger who is absolutely rapid with or without the ball, Owain was one of eight Scholars to sign professional forms in the summer of 2006 and his first taste of first team action came as an unused substitute in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Grimsby Town in October 2006.
His emerging talent was quickly spotted by the Welsh U21 scouts and in February 2007 Owain made his international bow at that level.
Owain is currently on loan with Kettering Town.
