We are delighted to announce that top Premier League side Aston Villa will be visiting Sincil Bank for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 15 July 2008.

Martin O'Neill's side, who finished the 2007/08 season in sixth place in the top flight, will visit Lincoln in preparation for their assault on the Intertoto Cup, which will start the following weekend.

The game will kick off at 7.45pm and admission prices will be announced nearer the day of the game.

The friendly is the latest home pre-season match to be confirmed with Derby County providing the opposition on Saturday 26 July 2008 whilst city neighbours Lincoln United will our guests at the Community Day on Sunday 20 July 2008.
