Ryan Amoo has today had his contract with the Imps cancelled by mutual consent.

The former Aston Villa youngster joined City in the summer of 2006 and went on to start 46 League games for the Imps, with a further 10 appearances coming as a substitute.

Amoo's last outing came on New Year's Day in the 1-1 draw with Bury whilst he will best be remembered for the fact that two of his three goals for the Club helped the Imps defeat Peterborough United at London Road in December 2006.
