Community Dividend Card winner claims free season ticket!

Keith Rossington of North Hykeham has been rewarded with a free season ticket for Lincoln City next season after raising nearly £150 for Lincoln City, just by shopping at Lincolnshire Co-operative as part of the 'Community Dividend Card' scheme.

Having signed up to the LCFC Community Dividend Card, Keith has shopped as normal with Lincolnshire Co-operative but donated his dividend points to the Lincoln City fund simply by using his LCFC Card.

As a result Keith has earned not only a free season ticket but he will also receive a minimum of £70 in vouchers before the end of this year. (for every £10 collected on the LCFC Community Dividend Card between the beginning of September and the end August, fans receive a £10 voucher, which can be redeemed at the Football Club for tickets, season tickets or Club Merchandise.

Keith was delighted to receive the news and was presented with the season ticket by the Imps' Martin Pembleton, one of the latest players to come through City's youth system and break into the first team.

City's Chief Executive Officer, Dave Roberts said of the scheme, 'This is a great way of raising valuable funds for the Club while doing everyday shopping with a local business that support the Football Club. We have built an excellent relationship with Lincolnshire Co-operative and this scheme is a winner for everyone, and fans have the potential to earn sufficient vouchers for a free season ticket.'

Sam Turner who is Membership and Community Manager at Lincolnshire Co-operative said 'We are delighted to be working with Lincoln City Football Club to help raise extra funds for the Club through the Community Dividend Card scheme. I'd like to congratulate Keith on behalf of Lincolnshire Co-operative and hope he enjoys cheering on The Imps for free next season.'

Other prizes involved in the scheme include a monthly prize for the person who collects the most points each month and they win two free tickets to a Lincoln City home game making the LCFC Community Dividend Card even more rewarding for the fans.

The Imps will once again be running the 'Free Season Ticket' promotion for the 2009/10 season with the fan who collects the most between now and April 2009 receiving tickets to all the 2009/10 season home games.

All profits from the scheme go towards developing City's Youth Development and Centre of Excellence schemes.
