Manager Peter Jackson, via his assistant Iffy Onuora, has confirmed his retained list for season 2008/09, with four players having been released.

The four in question are goalkeeper Alan Marriott, defenders Gary Croft and Adie Moses and striker Mark Stallard whilst the three other players who are out of contract in June - Jamie Forrester, Shane Clarke and Ayden Duffy - will be offered new terms for the 2008/09 season. An option in Scott Kerr's contract, meanwhile, has been invoked, extending it to June 30th 2009.

Iffy Onoura said: "Even in the relatively short space of time that I've been at the Club, you get to know players well so these are always difficult professional decisions to make.

"The four experienced players who will be leaving have been excellent professionals to work with and I've said to them all that this is only the end of one chapter here and there's no reason why it can't be the beginning of another chapter elsewhere."

Chairman Steff Wright added: "Always difficult to see players who have shown great commitment to the Club leave and I would like to thank Alan, Adie, Mark and Gary for their efforts over the course of their respective contracts,

"They're all good professionals, I wish them all the best for the future, and they'll all be deserving of a standing ovation should they return to Sincil Bank in opposing colours."

Below is the breakdown of those players still in contract, those to whom new contracts have been offered and those who have been released:

Players under contract until June 30th 2011:
Lee Frecklington.

Players under contract until June 30th 2010:
Daniel Hone, Lenell John-Lewis.

Players under contract until June 30th 2009:
Ryan Amoo, Lee Beevers, Nat Brown, Paul Green, Gary King, Dany N'Guessan, Martin Pembleton, Owain Warlow, Ben Wright. An option in Scott Kerr's contract, meanwhile, has been invoked, extending it to June 30th 2009.

Players out of contract on June 30th 2008 who will be offered new terms for the 2008/09 season:
Shane Clarke, Ayden Duffy, Jamie Forrester.

Players out of contract on June 30th 2008 who will not be retained for the 2008/09 season:
