Jamie Hand has today had his contract with the Imps cancelled by mutual consent.

The former England Youth International joined City on a two-year contract from Chester City last August but departs having made just 26 League and cup appearances for the Club.

Hand recently returned from a loan spell with Blue Square Premier outfit Oxford United, who he joined in February, with manager Peter Jackson stating at the time that it was unlikely that the midfielder had a future at Sincil Bank.
