Morecambe v Imps - Match Preview
Alan Marriott is still a doubt for the Imps as they travel to Morecambe for their final away game of the season in Coca-Cola League 2.
Marriott returned to full training on Thursday but is still a doubt for the game so Ayden Duffy is likely to keep his place following his full debut against Brentford last weekend. The only other doubt is Lenell John-Lewis who is still struggling with a stomach injury.
Iffy Onuora said, "Lenny is close to returning but, with the season almost up, we're not going to risk playing him and I suspect he'll not figure against Wrexham."
The Imps will, however, have the services of Scott Kerr following his lengthly suspension.
"It's great to have Scott back from suspension. He's not a dirty player but the four-match ban has probably worked out well with the birth of his first son, Finlay. He's been able to have some quality time with his family and hasn't had to worry about his sleepless nights," said the assistant manager.
On to Morecambe and Sammy McIlory's side have enjoyed a successful season in the Football League despite early optimism of securing a play-off place. The mid-table side has picked up just two points from their last four League games but will be boosted by the return of midfielders Stewart Drummond and Garry Thompson.
Drummond, who signed for the Shrimps in the January transfer window from Shrewsbury Town, has missed the last two games with an ankle injury whilst Thompson has missed the last three games due to a fractured cheekbone.
Referee for the game is Steven Cook from Surrey, kick off 3.00pm.
