Three second half goals saw the Imps come from behind against Macclesfield Town on Saturday to record their fifth successive League 2 victory.

City went a goal down in the eighth minute when Gareth Evans escaped the offside trap to round Alan Marriott and slot home with ease and that's how things stayed until the 72nd minute when Lenny John-Lewis fired home an equaliser.

John-Lewis's first League goal at Sincil Bank came after a Mark Stallard header from a Jamie Forrester cross crashed against the post before the ball landed at the teenager's feet.

John-Lewis then set up Forrester who swept City in front nine minutes later whilst it was left to substitute Dany N'Guessan to wrap things up in the closing stages when he curled past Macclesfield's sub 'keeper Tommy Lee after John-Lewis again turned provider.

Five on the trot then for Peter Jackson and his never-say-die troops with the win lifting City up to the dizzy heights of 14th in the Coca-Cola League 2 table.
