City hit the road for the first time under Peter Jackson's leadership on Saturday with Wycombe Wanderers' Adams Park being the venue.

The Imps travel to Wycombe on the back of a more than encouraging 1-1 draw with League One high-flyers Nottingham Forest in the First Round of the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON and will be looking to bring to an end the current winless run which stands at 14 games in all competitions.

Boss Jackson welcomes back Forest loanee Hamza Bencherif into his squad, although he will leave it late to decide his central defensive pairing with the experienced Adie Moses and teenager Danny Hone impressing in the Cup, whilst goalkeeper Ben Smith comes into the squad having arrived from Doncaster on a month's loan.

Long-term casualties Lee Beevers (shoulder) and Nat Brown (knee) remain on the sidelines whilst strikers Mark Stallard (knee) and Steve Torpey (hamstring) will also be forced to miss the trip.

Wycombe manager Paul Lambert, meanwhile, has no new injury worries to contend with, although Mike Williamson (knee), David McCracken (calf) and goalkeeper Jamie Young (hamstring) will all miss the match through their respective injuries.

Kick-off at Adams Park is 3.00pm and the match referee is Graham Salisbury from Lancashire.
