It was an afternoon to forget for the Imps on Saturday afternoon as Wrexham eased their relegation worries courtesy of a 3-0 victory in the Sincil Bank sunshine.
The Imps found themselves a goal down in the 18th minute when Simon Spender headed home from a corner and 10 minutes later a sliced clearance from Scott Kerr flew into his own net to put the Welshmen two up.
City created little during the opening half and the second period wan't much better either, with Lee McEvilly heading home Wrexham's third seven minutes after the restart to wrap up a comfortable victory.
