The top 100 Lincoln City League Legends, as voted for the fans, took place in the summer of 2006 to mark our 100th season in the Football League.

Supporters voted in their droves for the 10 players who they thought should claim a place in the prestigious list of the Club's "100 League Legends" - and with over 1,100 players having represented the Imps in the Football League since the Club became founder members of the Second Division in 1892, there were plenty of players to choose from.

Once the voting finished the countdown from 100 to 1 could begin and every week until the end of the season, players were inducted into this 'hall of fame' until the series drew to its grand conclusion. As the greatness of a player can be measured in many ways, we're sure that it turned out to be the most honest and authoritative assessment of Lincoln City Football Club's players who had the honour of representing the Club in the League between 1892 and 2006.
