The Domino's Half Time Tournament takes place at selected home games at half time throughout the 2006/07 season. Sixteen primary schools from the local area have snapped up the chance to be in the six a side competition.

Domino's are giving pizza vouchers to every child taking part in the competition and will also be providing the winner trophy and runner up medals for the teams that reach the final at the Imps' last home match of the season against Chester City.

The winning primary school will take part in a Lincoln City FC training day funded by the two Domino's stores in Lincoln. The runners up will not miss out though as they will be having their own Domino's pizza party.

Commenting on the Domino's Half Time Tournament, local store owner, Andy Gamwell said, "We wanted to do something special for the community that we serve. After all, it's local people that have helped us to become a successful business."

He added, "The tournament should be lots of fun and it's brilliant to be able to offer such an exciting opportunity to the children of Lincoln."

Community Manager Paul Kenton was delighted to get Domino's on board.

"Domino's Pizza is one of our main clients at the Club and we are delighted that they have again shown their support for us and the local community.

"By sponsoring the tournament Domino's have made a lot of children very happy, and we would like to thank them for their support."

The Club will be giving free tickets to the teams participating on the day along with two free adult tickets.

There's no need for others to miss out as they are offering a 'pizz-a the action' to all schools taking part. Special prices will allow children to watch the match for just £1 and adults for only £5.
